1. Sarvodaya Institute Of Higher Learning – Bandaragama
We were able to launch our pilot project of Miyawaki Forest at Sarvodaya Institute Of Higher Learning at Bandaragama on 16th April 2021 under the supervision and guidance of Dr.Vinya Ariyaratne the President of Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement of Sri Lanka.
2. Planned Miyawaki Forest At Mathurata Estate – Deniyaya
LOLC Finance PLC (LOFC), recently entered in to an agreement with Mathurata Plantations and Vibhawa Solutions Private Limited, to concentrate on replanting the endangered and endogenous species in degraded natural forests and private lands to support the reforestation efforts to enrich the natural order.
The project predominantly launched in the Deniyaya eco system, covers a fifty-acre land area belonging to Mathurata plantations, while five acres of land from Miyawaki forest and Butterfly Garden.
